New Heights Youth, Inc.

New Heights Youth, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in New York City, dedicated to youth development through sports and education. Founded in 2005, it operates from the Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The organization aims to empower underserved youth to become leaders and student-athletes by equipping them with essential skills for success in high school, college, and life. The organization offers a variety of programs that support the holistic development of young people. These include travel basketball teams, academic support services, high school and college preparation guidance, and the New Heights Summer Academy, which combines sports with educational activities. Additionally, New Heights Youth, Inc. hosts community-based clinics, leagues, camps, workshops, and events to promote sports, education, and social development. It serves over 1,500 youth and young adults annually, focusing on racially and economically marginalized communities in New York City.
