The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance is the main economic development organization for Broward County and the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. Established as the Broward County Industrial Board, the Alliance promotes the region as a prime business location. It employs around 34 staff and generates approximately $5.7 million in revenue. The organization focuses on four key areas: marketing Broward County, managing business expansion and retention projects, providing market research, and enhancing public/private leadership and investment. It targets high-value sectors such as aviation, financial services, global logistics, life sciences, manufacturing, marine industries, and technology. The Alliance also supports workforce coaching programs to connect residents with job opportunities and skills training.
