When you see the "Verified" badge on a WebOnlineBiz listing, here's what it actually means. This page is maintained by the WebOnlineBiz team and reflects our current verification process — it is not a third-party certification.

- ✓Legal business name matches state registration
- ✓Trade license verified where applicable (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, dental, legal, etc.)
- ✓Insurance status verified for trades and contractors
- ✓DBA / fictitious name filings cross-checked
- ✓EIN or business registration confirmed

Contact accuracy
- ✓Phone number reaches the business and identifies as the listed brand
- ✓Email domain matches the website or a verified channel
- ✓Physical address validated against USPS / mapping data
- ✓Service-area boundaries confirmed with the owner
- ✓Hours of operation cross-checked against Google Business Profile

Web presence
- ✓Website resolves on HTTPS with a valid certificate
- ✓Domain registration age confirmed
- ✓No active malware or phishing flags from Google Safe Browsing
- ✓Google Business Profile claimed and accessible
- ✓At least one third-party review profile (Google, Yelp, BBB) verified

- ✓Aggregate review rating sampled across at least two platforms
- ✓No active BBB complaints over the past 12 months
