The National Association of Social Workers North Carolina Chapter (NASW-NC) is a professional membership organization that promotes the social work profession in North Carolina. Established in 1955, it operates as a branch of the National Association of Social Workers, based in Washington, D.C. NASW-NC is located in historic Oakwood, downtown Raleigh, near the North Carolina General Assembly. With over 4,000 members, including master’s level social workers, bachelor’s level professionals, and students, NASW-NC provides a variety of services.
