About Lion TCR

Lion TCR is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Singapore, founded in 2015 as a spin-off from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). With a team of 29 employees, the company focuses on developing T cell receptor (TCR)-T cell immunotherapies aimed at treating viral-related cancers, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) linked to Hepatitis B virus (HBV).

Lion TCR is recognized for its advanced TCR-T cell therapy platform, which utilizes patients' immune systems to target and eliminate HBV-related HCC. The company has developed key technologies, including a TCR discovery platform and mRNA-based therapies that enhance safety and allow for careful dose escalation in clinical trials. Their lead candidates include LioCyx-M004, which has received FDA Investigational New Drug clearance, and GZL-016, which has secured approval from China's NMPA. The company also operates a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility to support its clinical products.
