Everybody Wins DC

Everybody Wins DC is a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of children through reading. Founded in 1995, it aims to address educational and economic disparities by supporting children in under-resourced communities in the Washington Metro Area. The organization fosters a love of reading and learning, helping children develop essential skills for success in school and beyond. The organization offers three main programs: One-on-One Mentoring, which pairs children with mentors for read-aloud activities; Free Book Distributions, providing children with access to books at home; and Community Partnerships, which create inclusive reading opportunities for children aged 5-12. Recognized for its contributions to literacy, Everybody Wins DC has received several awards, including the Mayor's Organizational Volunteerism Award and the Mike Fox Literacy Award.
