About

Achieve Atlanta is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing postsecondary success for students in Atlanta Public Schools. Established in 2014 through a partnership with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation, and APS, the organization aims to help students access, afford, and complete higher education. The organization provides a range of services, including college access support, which assists students with school selection, application processes, and financial aid navigation. Achieve Atlanta also offers college success programs in collaboration with Georgia colleges, providing academic advising and mentorship. Their scholarship program addresses financial barriers by offering need-based aid to APS graduates, including support for undocumented and DACA students. Achieve Atlanta focuses on closing equity gaps in education and improving upward mobility for students from low-income backgrounds. Through partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations, it strives to create a supportive environment for students from high school through college graduation.
