About VRCA - Vancouver Regional Construction Association
The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) is the largest construction association in British Columbia, founded in 1928 and based in Vancouver. With over 1,000 member companies, including general contractors, trade contractors, and suppliers, VRCA supports the industrial, commercial, institutional, and multi-family residential construction sectors across the Lower Mainland.
VRCA serves as a vital hub for the province's $16-billion construction industry, advocating for its members and providing essential services. The association focuses on networking, education, and advocacy, helping to address challenges such as skills shortages. Its mission is to unite the voice of construction in the Lower Mainland, while its vision emphasizes building future communities. VRCA also facilitates industry events, training programs, and resources to enhance member success and competitiveness. Notable projects by its members include the Vancouver Convention Centre West and the redevelopment of the BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
