TRAIDE Foundation

TRAIDE Foundation is a grant-making foundation and charity based in the Netherlands, established in 2020. It focuses on fostering sustainable private sector development in Africa, particularly in Ethiopia and Rwanda. TRAIDE builds partnerships between Dutch and local businesses to create jobs, strengthen economies, and drive long-term impact aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including decent work, sustainable cities, and gender equality.

The foundation offers tailored support to businesses through partnership development, market assessments, project facilitation, and entrepreneurship empowerment. TRAIDE connects Dutch and local partners to create sustainable solutions in emerging markets and supports initiatives like the "Partners in Pellets" project in Rwanda, which promotes clean cooking access. It also collaborates with organizations such as the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ethiopia and Healthy Entrepreneurs to enhance healthcare access in rural areas.
