About The Cabrach Trust

The Cabrach Trust is a community regeneration organization established in 2011 to revitalize a rural area in Moray, Scotland. It focuses on preserving cultural heritage and promoting economic and social development. The Cabrach region has a rich historical background, particularly in whisky distilling and Jacobite history, which the Trust aims to celebrate and share with visitors.

One of the Trust's key initiatives is the Cabrach Distillery, a community-owned facility that has resumed whisky production for the first time in over 170 years. The distillery operates as a social enterprise, reinvesting profits into community projects. The Trust also plans to establish a Heritage Centre to showcase the area's history and memories, along with a café that serves the community. Additionally, The Cabrach Collective offers exclusive access to Scotch enthusiasts, supporting the Trust's mission through membership fees. The Cabrach Trust serves as a model for rural regeneration efforts in Scotland and beyond.
