Le Signet Café

Café Le Signet is a socially-supported non-profit organization (NPO) promoting the employability of people who have experienced mental health challenges.

In addition to our social mission, we are creating a circular economy that promotes food safety and respect for the environment. We offer a nutritious ready-to-eat meal consisting of soups, meals, desserts, sauces and quiches, concocted with professionalism, at an excellent price-quality ratio.

Our contribution as a social economic entity is recognized and accredited by Emploi-Québec since 2011. As such, at least 60% of our employees are individuals with challenges related to their mental health. .The activities related to the development of our ready-to-eat offerings allow the socio-professional development of the employees under our care. Our underlying goal is to empower Le Signet Café employees to flourish in an uncommon environment and thus facilitate, if participants want to and can, reintegrate into the conventional labor market. We hold dear this intrinsic social mission of employability, which also allows us to bring affected individuals out of isolation and give them a sense of social righteousness.

Finally, Le Café Le Signet also promotes environmental awareness by serving ready-to-eat meals in recyclable and reusable Talthi trays. Our fresh coffees and juices are offered in compostable glasses and lids. Even our Nespresso capsules are recycled! By our judicious choice of containers, we reduce our environmental footprint.
