Junior Achievement of Western PA

Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania (JAWPA) is dedicated to empowering young people for future success. The organization collaborates with educators, families, and the business community to provide students with practical experiences that enhance their confidence and vision for their futures. JAWPA's mission focuses on inspiring and preparing youth through essential skills in financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship. It offers a variety of programs that connect classroom learning with real-world applications, delivered by volunteers. These programs include educational resources for teachers, online support for students and families, and opportunities for individuals to volunteer and make a positive impact in the community. Led by President and Executive Director Patrice Matamoros, JAWPA partners with local corporations and organizations to fund its initiatives, ensuring impactful experiences for K-12 students in Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
