H2OO: Heirs To Our Ocean

Heirs To Our Ocean (H2OO) is a California-based public benefit nonprofit organization founded on May 31, 2016. It is a youth-led movement focused on empowering young leaders to tackle humanitarian and environmental challenges, particularly those related to the global water system. H2OO fosters collaboration among youth from diverse backgrounds to create sustainable solutions. The organization offers various programs aimed at developing leadership skills and raising awareness. These include capacity development events, leadership and empowerment learning programs, and the Ocean Decade Youth Advisory Councils, which engage youth in national initiatives. H2OO also encourages storytelling through blogs, films, and poetry to amplify youth voices and drive action for a healthier, safer world. H2OO collaborates with partners who share its vision for a just and equitable future, working closely with the US National Decade Committee and serving as a resource for National Decade Committees globally.
