FortisBC is the largest provider of energy services in British Columbia, with over 100 years of operational history. As a regulated utility and a subsidiary of Fortis Inc., the company operates independently and employs around 2,700 people. FortisBC serves nearly 1.3 million customers across 135 communities and 58 First Nations, covering 150 Traditional Territories throughout the province. The company offers a wide range of energy solutions, including natural gas distribution and transmission, electricity distribution and transmission, and propane services. FortisBC also focuses on renewable energy, acquiring sources like Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and operates two liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities for marine transportation.
