FACE Coalition

FACE Coalition, also known as the Federation of African Canadian Economics, is a national, bilingual, Black-led non-profit organization founded to empower Black entrepreneurs and communities across Canada. Established in 2020 or 2021, FACE aims to accelerate wealth creation and address barriers to access capital, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, and operates as a coalition of five prominent Black-led organizations.

FACE offers a range of services to support Black entrepreneurs, including resources and education on funding options, networking opportunities, and advocacy for loan applications and business planning. Its flagship initiative is the Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund (BELF), which provides loans between $25,000 and $250,000 for various business needs. The organization has approved over $10 million in loans to date, designed to foster sustainable economic growth and generational wealth for Canadians of African descent.
