Evanston Scholars

Evanston Scholars is a non-profit organization based in Evanston, Illinois, founded in 2011. It is dedicated to enhancing college access and success for first-generation college entrants, students from low-income families, and students of color. The organization supports these students throughout the college admissions process, college graduation, and career launch. The organization offers a comprehensive six-year program that includes college advising, workshops, ACT/SAT preparation, and mentoring. Additionally, it features a career readiness program that provides coaching, professional development, and internship opportunities. The RISE Internship Program specifically helps college sophomores secure internships or research opportunities during their junior summer.
