Ed Farm is a nonprofit organization based in Birmingham, Alabama, focused on closing the digital skills gap through technology education and workforce development. Launched in February 2020 in partnership with Apple, Inc. and the Alabama Power Foundation, Ed Farm aims to empower educators, students, and adult learners to succeed in the digital age. The organization offers a variety of programs, including K-12 and community initiatives that provide coding sessions and challenge-based learning. It also runs workforce development programs that equip adult learners with essential tech skills and career coaching. Ed Farm's Innovation Challenge Program connects ed-tech startups with classrooms to pilot new technologies, while the Alabama Digital Education Network focuses on enhancing digital education in underserved areas. With a commitment to diversity and inclusion, Ed Farm serves communities throughout the Southeast and beyond.
