Carevive is an oncology-focused health technology company that aims to enhance the cancer patient experience. Founded in 2013 by Madelyn Herzfeld and Carrie Stricker, PhD, RN, Carevive was established to provide cancer care providers with better tools for facilitating transitions back to primary care. The company was acquired by Health Catalyst, Inc. in June 2024. Carevive's mission is to empower cancer programs and improve patient experiences through its digital platform, which integrates real-world patient experiences. The platform features a proprietary Clinical Intelligence System that combines electronic health record (EHR) data, evidence-based guidelines, and patient-reported outcomes. Key applications include treatment care planning, clinical trial screening, symptom management, and remote patient monitoring. Notably, Carevive launched Carevive STAIRS™, the first commercialized cancer symptom management pathways designed to enhance clinic processes and reduce hospitalizations.
