The Design Lab (ACA)

The Design Lab (ACA) is a design innovation team within Alberta Health Services (AHS) that focuses on enhancing healthcare through design thinking and human-centered solutions. They prioritize shifting mindsets to create tailored health and care solutions, utilizing entrepreneurial consulting to improve healthcare in Alberta.

The team applies design thinking methodologies to identify opportunities and develop innovative healthcare solutions. They offer consultations to discuss projects and engage in co-creation activities, including training and learning components for curricula. The Design Lab has previously collaborated with Arizona State University to provide design training from 2014 to 2016. They actively engage with the community through social media platforms like X and Instagram.
