Strike Pharma AB is a Swedish biotechnology company founded in 2020, specializing in targeted nanoparticle delivery systems for in vivo CAR-T therapies. The company has developed a unique technology platform that utilizes affinity conjugation to bind targeted antibodies to nanoparticles, allowing for selective drug delivery to specific cells in the body. The primary focus of Strike Pharma is on delivering RNA encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to T cells, aiming to reprogram these cells for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer. Their lead product candidate, STR3/19, targets the CD3 receptor on T cells and is designed to direct T cells to CD19 on B cells. Additional candidates in development include STRIKE2001 and STRIKE-1001, both targeting CD40. Founded based on research from Professor Sara Mangsbo at Uppsala University, Strike Pharma has received funding from various investors and relocated its operations to Lund, where it is establishing collaborations and conducting studies to validate its technology.
