SimKIDS is the Simulation Program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, focused on enhancing pediatric health care education through high-fidelity simulation-based training. The program aims to improve child health outcomes globally by fostering competency-based learning, safety, and interprofessional collaboration among clinicians, from students to experienced professionals.

Operating from an 11,500 sq. ft. Simulation Centre, SimKIDS features advanced facilities, including simulation suites, debriefing rooms, and an immersive suite equipped with VR technology. The program offers tailored, scenario-based simulations that emphasize child and family-centered care, critical thinking, and effective communication. Key initiatives include clinical training for respiratory therapy students, pediatric nursing orientation, and interprofessional critical care resuscitation practice. SimKIDS also hosts events like the Simulation Symposium, promoting innovation and collaboration in health care education.
