SCAN Health

SCAN Health, or the Supply Chain Advancement Network in Health, is a non-profit organization based in Windsor, Ontario. It focuses on improving healthcare supply chains by enhancing safety, efficiency, and resilience in clinical processes. The organization operates as an international knowledge translation platform, collaborating with over 100 partners across five countries, including Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.

The mission of SCAN Health is to strengthen the resilience of healthcare supply chains in Canadian health systems. It conducts research, shares knowledge, and develops practical solutions to improve supply chain agility for critical patient care products. Key activities include hosting a Resource Center with various educational materials, building a Community of Practice to promote best practices, and co-designing solutions with partners to ensure access to essential healthcare products. The leadership team includes Dr. Anne Snowdon as CEO and a diverse Board of Directors guiding the organization's strategic direction.
