Roivant Discovery
About
Roivant Discovery is a subsidiary of Roivant Sciences, which was founded in 2014. The company focuses on accelerating drug development through its network of agile subsidiaries, known as "Vants," that target specific therapeutic areas and technologies. One of the key offerings is the QUAISAR platform, a computational drug discovery tool that integrates quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and structure-activity relationship modeling. Roivant has developed a robust pipeline with over 40 medicines in progress, achieving 8 FDA approvals and 10 successful Phase 3 trials since 2019. The company also launched VTAMA® (tapinarof) cream for plaque psoriasis in 2022, which is now under Organon following the acquisition of Dermavant. Roivant Discovery operates within a structure of more than 20 Vants, each managed independently and focused on various therapeutic areas and health technologies. The company primarily serves patients through its therapeutic development efforts.
