Qmed Asia is a healthtech startup based in Malaysia, founded in 2019 by a team of doctors and engineers, including Dr. Kev Lim and Dr. Tai Tzyy Jiun. The company provides comprehensive SaaS solutions designed to streamline healthcare operations for facilities, providers, and patients. Originally launched as QueueMed to tackle long hospital queues, Qmed Asia has developed into a digital health platform focused on improving healthcare accessibility, quality, and efficiency.

The company offers a range of digital health modules and patient-facing tools. These include appointment scheduling, mobile queuing systems, virtual hospitals, tele-radiology, and home care solutions. Qmed Asia also features an AI-powered clinical decision support tool called QmedCopilot, which assists in analyzing medical images and predicting health risks. With a network of over 4,000 healthcare providers and 2 million patients, Qmed Asia is recognized by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health and is expanding its services into Indonesia and the Philippines.
