About Psychologists' Association of Alberta

The Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA) is a professional association representing over 4,000 psychologists and psychologists-in-training in Alberta. It operates independently from the College of Alberta Psychologists, which is the regulatory body for the profession. PAA's mission is to advance the science-based profession of psychology and promote the well-being of all Albertans.

PAA offers a range of services, including a province-wide referral service to connect the public with psychologists, professional development opportunities for its members, and public education initiatives that provide mental health information. The association also advocates for the profession of psychology at various levels and maintains an active communications strategy to enhance psychological health and wellness in Alberta. Members of PAA are registered psychologists who adhere to a strict code of ethics and are committed to providing quality psychological services.
