About Praxus Health

Praxus Health is a Canadian not-for-profit organization based in Calgary, founded in 2020. Originally known as 19 to Zero, it rebranded in late 2024 to focus on addressing systemic challenges in Canada's healthcare system. The name "Praxus" reflects its mission of practical application of knowledge and collective action to improve health outcomes, particularly for priority populations such as Indigenous communities, rural residents, newcomers, and immunocompromised individuals.

Praxus Health acts as a catalyst for systemic change by bridging gaps in accessibility, equity, and innovation. It collaborates with over 600 partners to reach more than 10 million Canadians, providing tailored, evidence-based interventions. The organization operates through four core pillars: equipping system innovators, partnering on solutions, amplifying advocacy, and actioning insights. Praxus has successfully launched health campaigns, produced numerous research publications, and developed educational resources in multiple languages, all aimed at promoting community empowerment and evidence-based health solutions.
