National Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health (NCCEH | CCNSE)

The National Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health (NCCEH) is one of six National Collaborating Centres for Public Health in Canada. It focuses on environmental health by examining how the natural and built environments affect human health and well-being. Established under the Public Health Agency of Canada, NCCEH aims to promote evidence-based practices by synthesizing scientific knowledge for practitioners and policymakers.

NCCEH conducts environmental scans to identify activities, evidence, and gaps in environmental health. It produces structured evidence reviews, practice guidelines, and web-based decision aids tailored to Canadian public health needs. The centre provides free online resources and tools to support environmental health practitioners and policymakers across Canada. It collaborates with public health networks and maintains a national advisory board to ensure its work addresses the needs of its constituencies.
