Motimate is a corporate learning and employee engagement platform based in Oslo, Norway. Launched in August 2017, it was founded by a team from Hyper, a digital agency with extensive experience in workplace learning solutions. In April 2021, Motimate was acquired by Kahoot! for $25-27 million. The platform is designed to enhance learning experiences for enterprise users in over 35 countries. It offers content creation tools that allow administrators to easily generate diverse learning materials, including videos, quizzes, podcasts, and games. Motimate supports employee onboarding, reskilling, and upskilling, while also providing performance tracking features to monitor progress and engagement. With over 130,000 users and more than 230 enterprise customers, Motimate serves various industries, including retail, transport, and childcare.
