Mocana, now part of DigiCert

Mocana is a cybersecurity company founded in 2004, initially focusing on embedded systems security. It developed the Embedded Security Suite to secure communications between networked devices. In 2011, Mocana expanded its offerings with the Mobile Application Protection platform, which provided security for mobile applications. In 2016, Mocana spun off its mobile security business to Blue Cedar Networks. In January 2022, the company was acquired by DigiCert, enhancing DigiCert's portfolio in IoT cybersecurity. Mocana's technology is now integrated into DigiCert's broader cybersecurity solutions, helping customers manage device identity, secure connections, and prevent device tampering.
