The McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, located at Texas A&M University, is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship among students, veterans, and professionals. Renamed in 2017 in honor of Arthur McFerrin Jr., the center offers a variety of programs and services designed to inspire and support individuals in their entrepreneurial pursuits. With over 30 unique programs, the McFerrin Center caters to various stages of entrepreneurial development. Key offerings include the Aggie 100 Awards, Startup Aggieland, and the 3-Day Startup program, which helps participants launch startups in a weekend. The center also hosts competitions like the MBA Venture Challenge and the Raymond Ideas Challenge, along with specialized training for veterans through the Reynolds and Reynolds Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. Events such as Aggie Entrepreneurship Saturday and Student Founders Night further enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing networking and learning opportunities for current and former students, veterans, and professionals.
