Matsuko is a deep tech startup based in Košice, Slovakia, founded in 2016. The company specializes in holographic telepresence and metaverse software, utilizing AI and 3D technology to create realistic holograms in real-time. Their flagship product is a holographic meeting app that allows users to capture and stream holograms using a single smartphone camera. This app is designed for 5G networks and supports immersive experiences across various devices, including smartphones and XR platforms.

Matsuko also offers holographic training solutions tailored for sectors such as automotive, construction, education, telecom, coaching, and entertainment. The company employs around 30 people from seven countries and collaborates with students, including doctoral candidates. With over €6 million raised from investors and recognition through awards like SXSW Pitch 2022, Matsuko is committed to enhancing remote interactions and the feeling of presence in digital communication.
