Its mission is to eliminate barriers to entrepreneurship and foster economic growth and job creation in the region.

It offers tailored programs for startups at various stages, including the Manitoba Invests funding program, which provides grants ranging from $25,000 to $250,000 for early-stage startups. Manitoba Innovates also supports commercialization efforts and maintains a real-time data platform that explores the local ecosystem, covering startups, investors, and funding opportunities. The organization collaborates with partners like North Forge to enhance community building and innovation in Manitoba.
