MAGNOTHERM is a German startup based in Darmstadt, specializing in magnetic cooling technology and magnetocaloric materials. Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from Technische Universität Darmstadt, the company has a team of over 40 experts dedicated to advancing refrigeration technology.

The core of MAGNOTHERM's innovation lies in solid-state magnetocaloric materials, which replace traditional gas-compression cooling systems. This technology enhances energy efficiency by 30-40%, operates safely without explosive or flammable materials, and eliminates refrigerant gases, significantly reducing environmental impact. MAGNOTHERM has introduced POLARIS, the first commercial magnetic refrigerator, for supermarket applications. Additionally, the company is collaborating with the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory to develop Europe's first magnetocaloric hydrogen liquefier, showcasing its commitment to sustainable cooling solutions.
