Level Effect

Level Effect is a cybersecurity education and training provider founded in 2017 by former Department of Defense security analysts Greg Ake and Rob Noeth. Originally a software company, it developed Recon™, a network-aware endpoint detection and response technology, which was acquired by Huntress Labs in January 2021. Following this acquisition, Level Effect shifted its focus to closing the cybersecurity skills gap through hands-on training programs. The company offers the Cyber Defense Analyst Program, a 12-week bootcamp-style course that equips participants with job-ready skills in both defensive and offensive cybersecurity. The curriculum includes practical training in networking, systems administration, web technologies, databases, and threat analysis, delivered by experienced instructors, including former NSA analysts. Level Effect emphasizes a hands-on approach, utilizing scenario-based exercises and real-world simulations to prepare aspiring cybersecurity professionals for industry demands.
