About Lanaudière Économique

Lanaudière Économique (LÉ) is a non-profit organization established in 1991 to support economic development in the Lanaudière region of Quebec. It operates as a regional branch of the ADRIQ, focusing on addressing common economic challenges across the six regional county municipalities (MRC) in the area.

The organization's mission is to assist businesses in adopting environmentally responsible practices and clean technologies, promoting sustainable economic growth. LÉ operates within the business consultancy industry and serves a region characterized by a strong secondary sector, particularly in construction and manufacturing, while the tertiary sector dominates overall employment. The Lanaudière region represents 6.3% of Quebec's total employment as of 2024.
