Kin Ecosystem is a decentralized blockchain-based economy centered around the Kin (KIN) cryptocurrency. It enables micropayments and peer-to-peer transactions across various apps, websites, games, and services without intermediaries. Since migrating to the Solana blockchain in 2020, Kin supports near-instant transactions with minimal fees and maintains a 0% net carbon impact.

Launched in 2017 by Kik Interactive Inc., Kin initially aimed to power the Kik Messenger app's economy.
