International Door Association

The International Door Association (IDA) is a trade association established in 1995, representing the door and access systems industry. It was formed through the merger of two earlier associations and aims to promote professionalism through advocacy, education, and collaboration. IDA is headquartered with an international focus and organizes its members into four regions, each represented on the Board of Directors. The association has nearly 1,000 members and hosts the IDAExpo+, which attracts over 2,000 attendees annually.

IDA offers a range of services to its members, including advocacy on industry issues, education and training resources, networking opportunities, and business support. Members benefit from access to online training, seminars, and workshops, as well as discounts on various services. The association also publishes a bimonthly magazine that provides industry updates and trends. IDA serves dealer members, supplier members, and technician members, fostering a community of professionals in the garage door and access systems sector.
