Innitius is a Spanish MedTech company based in Bilbao, specializing in advanced medical devices and software for women's healthcare. Founded in January 2018 as a spin-off from the Andalusian Health Service and the University of Granada, Innitius focuses on enhancing obstetric decision-making through biomechanics and artificial intelligence. The company operates offices in Bilbao, Barcelona, and Madrid. The flagship product, Fine Birth, is a non-invasive diagnostic technology that measures the mechanical properties of cervical tissue to differentiate between real and false preterm births. Innitius has expanded its offerings to a multi-solution platform that addresses areas such as Threatened Preterm Labor, Preterm Labor Prognosis, and Induction of Labor. The company has also developed the CerviSense Intravaginal Probe and a Research App for automated data transfer. Innitius is actively involved in clinical evaluations and trials across multiple hospitals in Europe, aiming for approval from the European Medicines Agency.
