ICEBRG (acquired by Gigamon)

ICEBRG was a Seattle-based cybersecurity startup founded in 2014 by experts from Microsoft and the Department of Defense. The company focused on developing advanced network security solutions that utilized sensors and analytics to help organizations prevent network breaches. In July 2018, ICEBRG was acquired by Gigamon, a prominent network traffic management company. This acquisition aimed to enhance Gigamon's security capabilities by integrating ICEBRG's threat detection and analytics technologies. Following the acquisition, ICEBRG's solutions were combined with Gigamon's network traffic visibility platform, providing comprehensive tools for threat detection and response, particularly beneficial for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
