Hiveclass

Hiveclass is an edtech platform based in New York, founded in 2020 to provide remote physical education resources. The company was established in response to the challenges traditional P.E. programs faced during the shift to virtual learning. Hiveclass aims to democratize access to quality sports and wellness education for K-12 students. The platform offers a digital P.E. curriculum featuring instructional videos on sports fundamentals and fitness activities, aligned with national standards. It includes interactive learning tools, such as quizzes to reinforce skills, and a teacher portal that allows educators to track student progress and assign P.E. credits. Hiveclass is fully ADA-compliant, providing content in English and Spanish, and collaborates with public schools and libraries to enhance community programming, particularly for students with special needs. Recently, Hiveclass secured $1.5 million in seed funding to further develop its offerings and improve services for students with disabilities.
