About Graduate Management Consulting Association (GMCA)

The Graduate Management Consulting Association (GMCA) is a student-governed professional society established in 2009 at the University of Toronto. It supports over 2,600 graduate and postdoctoral trainees across 11 Canadian university chapters, helping them pursue careers in management consulting. GMCA connects non-business graduate students and postdocs with consulting opportunities, utilizing their analytical skills to enhance their career prospects.

GMCA's mission is to empower its members through various educational programs focused on management consulting. Key activities include networking events with consulting firms, case competitions, workshops led by industry professionals, and interview practice sessions. The organization also offers resume clinics and training on business fundamentals, along with an annual conference. Membership fosters a strong community, with engagement through platforms like Slack and LinkedIn, and local chapters provide tailored support for professional growth.
