Global Conservation Solutions (GCS) is a Canada-based social enterprise founded in 2017 by Josh Noseworthy. The organization focuses on enhancing conservation practices through strategic planning, coaching, and facilitation. GCS aims to conserve life on earth by promoting collaboration, inclusivity, and optimism in addressing ecological and socio-economic challenges.
GCS offers a range of specialized services, including coaching and facilitation to build trust and effective strategies, strategic planning and adaptive management, training and capacity building, and geospatial consulting. The company works with over 300 clients, including non-profits, government agencies, Indigenous groups, and academic institutions. Notable projects include conservation plans for the Inner Bay of Fundy, Monarch Butterfly conservation in Canada, and initiatives with the Nova Scotia Working Woodlands Trust.
