GDG Montreal

GDG Montreal is a volunteer-led community group that connects developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts in Montreal. It focuses on education, networking, and knowledge-sharing through free events, workshops, meetups, and conferences centered on Google technologies and related topics. The community is open to all skill levels and operates independently.

The group coordinates four active sub-communities: Android Montreal, Flutter Montreal, Women Techmakers Montreal, and GDG Cloud Montreal. Each sub-community hosts monthly events that include speaker sessions, hands-on workshops, and community gatherings. The flagship event, DevFest Montreal, is an annual conference that attracts over 400 attendees for a day of talks and networking. GDG Montreal is organized by local volunteers from various companies and maintains a YouTube channel for event recordings and photos.
