Fraser Crossing Partners

Fraser Crossing Partners is a joint venture formed by Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc. and Aecon Constructors, focused on the design, construction, and partial financing of the Pattullo Bridge replacement project in British Columbia. This project involves building a new four-lane bridge over the Fraser River, connecting New Westminster and Surrey. The new structure will enhance safety with dedicated pedestrian and cyclist lanes, addressing the vulnerabilities of the existing bridge.

The consortium specializes in complex infrastructure projects, particularly long-span bridges, and includes engineering experts from firms like Leonhardt, Andra und Partner Beratende Ingenieure VBI AG, Hatch Corporation, and EXP Services Inc. The project has a budget of $1.08 billion, with construction starting in 2020 and completion expected by late 2023. The primary client for this project is the Province of British Columbia.
