FIRST, the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams, is a global organization focused on enhancing cybersecurity incident response and management. It serves as a collaborative platform for incident response and security teams worldwide, fostering cooperation and coordination among its members. Governed by a Board of Directors, FIRST establishes policies and procedures to guide its operations and supports its members through various programs. The organization offers several key services, including a Community and Capacity Building Program that leverages global expertise, event coordination for knowledge sharing, and infrastructure services to support its teams and initiatives. FIRST also acts as an administrative contact point through its Secretariat, ensuring smooth organizational operations. By bringing together incident response teams, FIRST aims to improve their capabilities and effectiveness in addressing cybersecurity challenges.
