The FAIR Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing cyber and operational risk management through quantitative analysis and standardized practices. It serves as a global community for risk professionals, cybersecurity leaders, and business executives, promoting the Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR™) framework. This framework helps quantify information risk in financial terms, fostering collaboration between risk professionals and business leaders to align cybersecurity efforts with organizational goals. The FAIR Institute offers three core services: framework development to establish FAIR™ as the international standard for cyber risk quantification, education and certification programs to build expertise in quantitative risk analysis, and community engagement through conferences and workgroups. The organization collaborates with Safe Security as its Technical Advisor to support the operationalization of the FAIR™ methodology. With a focus on peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and a commitment to best practices, the FAIR Institute plays a vital role in advancing risk management in various industries.
