DVTEL, Inc. is a developer of open, scalable, end-to-end video surveillance solutions, established between 2000 and 2003. The company specializes in enterprise-class security and surveillance technologies. It has evolved from an innovator in IP video management software to a global provider of high-performance software and hardware. DVTEL offers a range of products, including integrated video management system (VMS) software, advanced video analytics software, visible and thermal security cameras, servers, encoders, decoders, and high-definition IP video surveillance cameras. In November 2015, DVTEL was acquired by FLIR Systems, which enhanced its capabilities in full-spectrum security systems across various markets. At the time of the acquisition, DVTEL had around 130 employees and was positioned for growth under its new management.
