About

DocTocToc is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access for vulnerable young children and their families in Montreal's northern boroughs. Founded by Dr. Rislaine Benkelfat, a pediatrician at the Montreal Children's Hospital, the organization began as "Ma MobiClinique" in 2017 and was rebranded as DocTocToc in 2019. The mobile pediatric health clinic was officially inaugurated on March 19, 2025. The mission of DocTocToc is to provide equitable healthcare access for children aged 0 to 5 and their families. The mobile clinic offers a range of services, including basic nursing care, psychosocial support, navigation assistance, and neurodevelopmental screening. The organization aims to care for approximately 1,500 children each year, addressing significant gaps in healthcare access. DocTocToc also engages in teaching, research, evaluation, knowledge translation, and advocacy to further its goals. It collaborates with various partners, including the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation and McGill University's Faculty of Medicine, to enhance its impact in the community.
