About

The Do Good Institute is part of the University of Maryland, dedicated to creating the nation's first "Do Good Campus." It focuses on empowering future nonprofit leaders through education, resources, and opportunities in nonprofit management, philanthropy, social innovation, and civic engagement. The institute offers a variety of programs, including undergraduate and graduate courses in nonprofit leadership, workshops, pitch competitions, and fellowships for emerging leaders. Its Do Good Accelerator program provides grants and mentorship to help students develop their social impact projects. The annual Do Good Challenge engages thousands of students in initiatives that have raised significant funds for hospitals and supported community projects. Through its efforts, the Do Good Institute has fostered a network of successful alumni who have launched impactful social enterprises and contributed to meaningful change in their communities.
