The CN Tower, also known as Tour CN, is a prominent 553-meter (1,815-foot) freestanding communications and broadcast tower located in Toronto, Canada. Opened to the public on June 26, 1976, it is recognized as the city's most iconic landmark and a major tourism destination. Originally built to improve radio and TV reception, the tower showcases Canadian engineering and has attracted over 2 million visitors annually. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Toronto from the observation decks located in a seven-story spherical pod at approximately 351 meters (1,151 feet). The tower also features the 360 Restaurant, a revolving fine-dining venue, and an entertainment complex with various visitor experiences.
